Micol, at the neighbouring\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/umh.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universidad Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez de Elche<\/a>\u00a0(UMH), on the genetic analysis of leaf development in\u00a0<em>Arabidopsis thaliana<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I carried out my postdoctoral research with Prof. B. Scheres at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uu.nl\/EN\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Utrecht University<\/a>\u00a0(The Netherlands), on the link between cell cycle regulators and root growth and development. Afterwards, I came back to the group of Prof. J.L. He joined the laboratory in April 2021 with a \u201cMar\u00eda Zambrano\u201d grant to attract international talent. His PhD Thesis focused on genetic, genomic and transcriptomic analysis of\u00a0<em>Pochonia chlamydosporia<\/em>. He carried out an in-depth genomic analysis, leading the sequencing and functional annotation of the first genome of a nematophagous fungus. Thereafter, he made his first postdoc in the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Gametogenesis at the Center for Biological Research (CIB-CSIC, Madrid). His research focused on the analysis of non-coding RNAs (ncRNA), mainly small RNAs (sncRNA), in primordial germ cells (PGCs) and mammalian gametes. She has been involved on the optimization of\u00a0<em>in vitro<\/em>\u00a0micropropagation in different plant species. During her PhD, she characterized adventitious root formation on a collection of commercial carnation cultivars. En el laboratorio del Prof. B. Scheres de la\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.uu.nl\/EN\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universidad de Utrecht<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Pa\u00edses Bajos) estudi\u00e9 la interacci\u00f3n\u00a0de los genes que regulan el ciclo celular con los del desarrollo del sistema radicular. En mi segunda estancia postdoctoral me incorpor\u00e9 al grupo del Prof. J.L. Realiz\u00f3 su primera estancia postdoctoral en el Laboratorio de Biolog\u00eda Molecular de Gametog\u00e9nesis del Centro de Investigaciones Biol\u00f3gicas (CIB-CSIC, Madrid).
